终于把second most popular sport in the world的规则搞明白了。Wikipedia上说Cricket那个词条说，"Cricket ... is the second most popular sport in the world"。是啊，有十几亿的阿三在，板球的排名能不高么，这道理就跟China Mobile ... is the world"s biggest wireless-phone company是一样的。ESPN在印度还专门有一个STAR CRICKET频道，我可从没在世界其他地方看到过有什么"ESPN BASKETBALL"或"STAR SOCCER"频道。
敢情板球和棒球也就差不多，也是用一根棍子把球打掉，然后跑啊跑，跑得越多越好。另一方要努力不让对方把球打掉，或尽快把对方打掉的球抓住并送回去。不断的磨练打球、扔球、接球的技术，再加上跑的快一点，就是一个好的板球或棒球运动员了。
By the way，我所见过最最优雅的打板球的是Becoming Jane里面的Anne Hathaway。
