夏天一过，又有好多个同事要到美国去工作，上海这边的，还有以前在北京时候的同事。掰着手指头数数，这两年，我所认识的同事里，快有二十来个人到美国去工作了。现在到美国去工作越来越容易了，容易得让人不敢相信。基本上只要你想，最终总是能在那边找到一个去处。区别无非是有些拿到了好一些的package，有些拿了一个比较鸡肋的package。从前，只有最最优秀的员工才能到Redmond去工作，如今，换了人间。
我念中学那几年，《傅雷家书》特别火，基本上每家的书架上都有一本，三联版的。我自然也搞了一本看。当时特别不理解为什么傅聪会决定留在英国不回国。在我眼里，弹钢琴的傅聪应该不是俗人，应该是不会为资本主义的花天酒地而吸引的。况且，他留在英国是自由了，倒霉的是他爸爸和弟弟。国家已经送他去波兰学习、比赛了，学完比完也该回来了。有去有回，再去不难。若有一人公派出国便滞留不归，倒霉的是后来人。类似的，早年的中国留学生常常不念完博士就离校工作赚钱去了，慢慢的，美国的大学不再相信申请读博士的中国学生了。
我的这些将要或已经到美国去工作的同事，很多都去过Redmond出差，有些还不止一次两次。想必其中有不少人利用美国出差的机会顺便也接触了一些人，了解了一些情况。近水楼台，人在美国自然方便许多，不比在中国这里，人见不到，只能打电话，还有八个钟头的时差。只不过，怕就怕一旦去美国出差的人里十之八九最后都在那儿找了份工作，慢慢的，老板就不会再愿意送人去美国出差、轮换、培训了。
不知道当年傅聪“叛变”后的十几年里，国内还有没有再送过学音乐的学生去欧洲学习比赛。一定有很多傅聪的同龄人或下一代人，心里恨死了傅聪，恨傅聪图一人之利，断了后来人的路。
