Scribd是一个在线文档分享服务，上线于今年3月份左右。通过它用户可以上传微软的doc, ppt, xls, Openoffice的odt, odp, sxw, sxi, 及PDF、TXT、jpg, jpeg, png, gif等多种格式文件，Scribd会把它自动转换成Flash格式的展示框架，并提供可内置到Blog进行分享的JS调用代码。
近日，Scribd为了更方便用户上传文件进行分享操作，特推出了一个名为Scribd Desktop Uploader的桌面端工具，通过该工具你可以批量上传其支持的文档，不过目前该工具只支持Windows XP 和Vista。
