Isaac Mao曾经写过一篇《2.0网站如何赴死》，忠告创业者，创业的时候要善待用户，创业失败了同样要善待用户。让用户取回他们的数据，或者提供将数据转移到其他网站的方案，不但是创业失败应该做的，即使没失败，由于业务调整关闭一个服务，也同样需要这么做。
Web 2.0公司所拥有的网站数据，大多并非网站的自有资产，而是来自用户的贡献。我曾经用过网易的个人主页服务、免费邮箱服务、网站统计服务，网易还健在，但这些服务都不知去向，我曾经的喜怒哀乐，曾经的心血和热情，也都随之不知所终。这留给你的感受是，对于这些网站来说，用户是微不足道的，当他们不再需要你，你所留下的所有数据，连垃圾都不如。
UUZone突然关闭又突然开放，没有跟它的用户打过任何招呼，谁还敢相信这样一家公司？所以，趁它能访问，用户最好赶紧备份自己需要备份的数据，然后远走高飞。不管UUZone是否打算继续经营，它已经不值得信赖。
有时候我觉得，成熟的1.0公司，要比稚嫩的2.0公司更关心自身的品牌形象，更懂得该伺候好自己的用户。刚才，我收到了Yahoo! Photos团队的邮件，正式通知我Yahoo! Photos将在太平洋时间今年9月20日下午9点关闭。当然，在此之前我已经利用Yahoo!提供的转移方案，把Yahoo! Photos的照片转移到了Flickr。不管过去Yahoo! Photos的经营如何不思进取，作为用户，我没什么可抱怨的。雅虎不但提供了向Flickr转移的方案，还提供了向竞争对手的服务转移的方案，因为用户可能并不适合Flickr，此外，你还可以打包下载或订购CD。
所有的互联网公司都属于服务行业，顾客是上帝是通则，并不因免费顾客就成了孙子。但大多数中国用户，已经当惯了孙子。
